Traveling to Jeju Island and wondering where to go? Don’t worry my chingudeul, this post is about my 4 days and 3 nights vacation in Jeju last June 11 to 14, 2019, but will separate articles from day 1 to 4. This tackles about the places we visited and will share some tips for you as your guide when you plan to travel in Jeju.
Wondering Where to go in Jeju Island: Day 1
We depart at Gimpo Airport and less than an hour we arrived at Jeju airport. After arrival, we took a bus going to the rental car and picked up our rented van (we are 11 so we rented a van). We had lunch after, then we went to:
Yongduam (Dragon Rock Head)
According to the year,2012 is the year of the black dragon which comes every 60 years. From the legend of Korea, black dragons bring bravery, hope, and good luck. Yongduam is composed of black basalt rocks symbolizes the black dragon of ancient times. It is also believed that if you made a wish here, your wish will come true. At the same way, similar legends are the same and exist in China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. This place is open 24 hours and no entrance fee at all.

We saw a lot of dinosaurs on display outdoors. They also have a museum where fossils and special rocks are displayed. They have also a mini zoo where you can feed the animals (ponies and gerbils.) There are also different kinds of parrots at the Toy Land. They also have a bamboo maze park where I was actually lost. (I can’t get out so I exited where I started, hahaha). This place is a very enjoyable and pleasant place to visit if you like dinosaurs and animals.

Burger and Cafe 붉은못허브팜
After 2 destinations we ate at a burger house, and it’s my first time to see a super huge burger in Korea. Burgers in Jeju are really freshly made from their own ingredients and the vegetables are really fresh from farms. I highly recommend this burger cafe because their burger tastes good unlike from the second burger shop we visited after we went to Maze Museum.

I am not a fan of Ghost Houses so I’ll say I didn’t enjoy the place. But we tried the VR Tank and my sisters-in-law went to the Ghost House. They also accept guests for accommodation. This place is not highly recommended as Jeju has more interesting and beautiful tourists spots.

Hallim Park (한림공원)
We went here to Hallim Park but we didn’t go inside because the admission fee is expensive. But if you love flowers, this is the best place for you.

바다 풍경 Japanese and Korean Cuisine
We had our dinner at 바다 풍경, it serves Japanese and Korean cuisine. It’s in front of the bay so it’s really something different and relaxing. Sushi is a bit pricey so prepare your wallet if you want to experience this place.

Brown Cabin (브라운캐빈)
After dinner, we went to our cabin. It’s resting time. The accommodation comes with a cable flat-screen TV, a kitchenette, fitted with a microwave and refrigerator. There is a private bathroom with a shower and slippers in each unit. Towels are available, too. You can also do a barbecue just tell the person in charge. It is near at Jeju International Airport (15km) and Jeju Paradise Casino (13km).
