Goblin or The Lonely and Great God is a Korean drama that hits the viewer’s heart last 2016. Stars Gong Yoo as the Goblin, Kim Go-eun as the Goblin’s Bride, Lee Dong-wook as the Gream Ripper, and Yoo In-na as Goblin’s sister in the past life. BTOB Sung Jae was also in the drama as Gong Yoo’s niece.
Being the third-highest drama, a lot of viewers made their own way to discover the Goblin’s Filming locations. It’s been about less than 3 years but still, a lot of tourists are visiting these places.
In this post, I will list some that I have been and not just to share with all the Goblin’s fans all over the world. So here we go, my chingudeul!
Korean Drama Goblin Filming Locations
Duksung Women’s University [덕성여자대학교]
In Episode 1, it’s the place where Goblin and Eun-tak first met each other while raining.
At the other side, a narrow path is another location which Eun-tak was trying to avoid a ghost but the ghost succeeded to caught her attention.

How to get here: Subway Line 3, Anguk Station, Exit 1. Walk along 4 Yulgok-ro 3-gil
In episode 2 of The Goblin (2016), this was the place where Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun-Tak (Kim Go-Eun) arrived coming back from Québec.

How to got here:
Seoul Subway Line 3, Gyeongbokgung Station and Exit 5.

Take Bus No. 1020, 7025,109, 171, 172, 601 or 606 and get off at Gyeongbokgung Palace Bus Stop.
Take Jongno Bus No. 11 and get off at the National Folk Museum of Korea Bus Stop. 마을버스 종로11

Where Sunny and Eun Tak sat and talked.

In episode 4 where the Grim Reaper sees Sunny in every single woman, he passes by when he walked in the street and can get out Sunny in his mind.
Coffee Mill/Dalssi Market
In episode 12, the Grim Reaper waited for Sunny just opposite of this shop underneath the lamp pole. He kissed her to bring back the memories of her past life (a kiss of a Grim Reaper apparently does this trick). He told her to forget all the sad memories and only keep the good memories.

From Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, take a bus going to Hoenggye Intercity Bus Terminal.
From Hoenggye Intercity Bus Terminal, take a taxi going to Yongpyong Resort (it’s about 13 minutes travel)
Seoknamsa Temple Anseong [석남사(안성)]
Address: 3-120 Sangchonsaemal-gil, Geumgwang-myeon, Anseong, Gyeonggi-do (경기 안성시 금광면 상촌새말길 3-120)
How to get here: From Seoul, Express Bus terminal take a bus going to Anseong Bus Terminal.
From Anseong Central Bus Terminal, take Bus No. 50-7 and get off at Mirinae Sanctuary Bus Stop (takes 1 hour).
