Are you a fan of Jung Il Woo? Jung Il Woo is a Korean actor who held a bazaar entitled “Share your love” last December 15, 2019, at the 방배동 커피상회 (BangBaedong Coffee).
There are many Korean actors that I like including Ji Chang Wook, Lee Min Ho, Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, Park Bo Gum and a lot more. But there is an actor that I really like his smile and that’s Jung Il Woo. I first saw him on the Korean drama 49 days as the Scheduler. In that drama, he has a smaller built that this time. After that, I kept on following him, watching his drama, reading news about him, though I’m a silent fan.
As a fan, I am also dreaming of meeting him and say hi and this year that dream came true. The day after my examination, he has a scheduled bazaar at the BBD Coffee shop in the district of Seocho, Seoul. I week before the even I am not yet decided if I should come or not since my son was sick. The day before the event my son got better and I made my mind that I will join the said bazaar. It’s my dream, so it’s the right time to achieve it.
The day of the Bazaar
December 15, 2019, at 11:00 in the morning, the bazaar started. My son and I arrived a bit late but it’s not a problem, Jung Il Woo was still there. He was personally packing those items that the fans have bought. I bought one hoodie, shirt, and sunglass and I got a free thank you card plus a canvas bag from his latest fan meet.
At the bazaar, Jung Il Woo‘s personal items like clothes, shoes, accessories and etc. were on sale from 5,000 to 30,000 won. His 2020 Season’s greeting too and home spray were available and some items from Kribbit. The kimchi seasoning featured in the TV program 편스토랑 (C0nvenience Store Restaurant) was 5,000 won for 2 bottles. All the proceeds from the said event were donated to the needy neighbors. Special Event <Auction>
There was a special auction in the afternoon 5 photos of Il Woo in an acrylic frame with autograph and two-shot polaroid. I didn’t join the bidding since I do not have any budget for that. I am maybe a fan but still, I don’t want to end up with an empty wallet. [Photo credit: Nelson]
I didn’t bring my camera with me since I came to the event with my son. A good friend of mine who went to the event shared these beautiful shots of Jung Il Woo. I took some videos and photos too which can be seen in my fangirling Instagram account. [Photo credit: merylene]
I also got the chance to take some photos even though I felt like I just kept on running around while following my son. He ran here and there and it was very tiring. But the greatest moment was when Jung Il Woo waves to my son and says hi and the time has stopped. (haha the fangirl’s heart was melted)
Don’t ever lose hope when you dream of something. God will always give it to you in the right place and at the right time. Like what happened to me. I’ve waited for seven years honestly. I didn’t receive any material gifts this year but I got the best gifts ever. I passed my citizenship and I saw my favorite actor.
