During this pandemic aside from watching Korean dramas and movies, there are Korean drama must-have items that help me to cope with corona blues. Wanna know about these items? Keep on reading this article and you’ll know what I am talking about.
We are in all in the situation that we feel so stuck, it’s like time has stopped and we’ve been staying at home and we don’t even know when will this crisis end. We kept on feeling blue, stressed and depressed because of what’s happening right now. We’ve been getting corona fears and corona blues, I feel the same way. I tried reading some articles about How to cope up with Covid-19 and things that we can do while we are staying at home.
One day, while browsing on my phone, looking for some books to buy and read but I ended up seeing a coloring book from two Korean dramas. One is from Mr. Sunshine played by the protagonist Lee Byung-hun and Kim Tae-ri. The other one was from Encounter or Boyfriend, starred by Park Bo-gum and Song Hye Kyo. I know that a lot of people have been hooked with Korean dramas, not just this time but since the Hallyu world started.

1. Mr. Sunshine Coloring Book
The book contains 108 pages including the photos which can be a guide if you are not good in color matching like me. The photos are scenes from the drama, so if you have watched Mr. Sunshine you’ll be familiar with the photos included in the book.
What I like about this coloring book is the designs are unique and it will make you more eager to create beautiful pieces. So if you are good at painting or coloring this is a great deal to have.
2. Encounter Coloring and Sticker Book, Love that Guy (Korean: 사랑 그녀석; RR: Sarang Keunyeseok)
This coloring and sticker book reinterprets the best scenes in the drama, Encounter or Boyfriend. It has 56 pages and a special appendix which you can enjoy putting the stickers on the photos and create a beautiful image.
Coloring has the ability to reduce our anxiety and stress especially during this time. In addition to that, it can relax our mind from our fears and worries. It’s the same as meditating as it helps our mind and body to be calm and reduce tension. Another thing is, coloring helps us to generate mindfulness and quietness as we are able to leave our gadgets behind.
Above all, coloring makes us productive, creative and it’s healthier than the usual alternative like handy phone games or computer games.
